Felix Solis buys the facilities of the company Mostos Internacionales in Valdepeñas
The family- owned winery Felix Solis has bought the facilities of the company Mostos Internacionales in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real).
This operation means an increase in the production capacity of extra 30 million litres. In this regard, Felix Solis aims to use the new facilities for two purposes: On one hand, increase the storage capacity of the wines made at the current winery of Felix Solis in Valdepeñas, which is very convenient, due to the proximity of the current facilities and the new facilities of Mostos Internacionales; on the other hand, an increase in the capacity of grape reception for 2016 harvest.
At this stage of the year, the winery Felix Solis forecasts that 2016 harvest in Castilla La Mancha will be similar to 2013´s one, which means around 30-40% higher than in 2015, unless further weather changes during this summer.
With this new expansion, Felix Solis has in Valdepenas a total capacity of production for 250 million kilos of red and white grapes for the next and future harvests.
